DARK CHOCOLATE CHIPS STREUSEL TWIRL
INGREDIENTS...
6 c All-Purpose Flour / plus more for work surface.
1 1/2 c warm Unsweetened Almond Milk / 90 F to 110F. 2 packages of Active Dry Yeast + 1/2 tsp. Sugar
3/4 c Sugar /
3 large Eggs /room temperature. If small use 4. Sepperate 1 egg ( the white from the yolk. Set the white aside and place the YOLK with the other 2 eggs to use in the flour.
1 tsp. Salt
1 1/2 sticks Unsalted Butter / cut into 1-inch cubes at room temperature + more for greasing the bowl and cookie sheet or loaf pans.
2 c Semisweet Dark Chocolate Chips / very finely chopped.
2 1/2 tsp. ground
Cinnamon / less or more depends on you.
1 Tbsp. Plain Yogurt
2 Tbsp. CHIVAS RIGAL
FOR THE STREUSEL
1 1/2 c Sugar
1 1/3 c All-Purpose Flour
1 1/2 stick Unsalted Butter / room temperature and cubed.
2 1/2 tsp. Olive Oil
INSTRUCTIONS...
Pour the warm milk into a small bowl. Sprinkle yeast and the 1/2 tsp. of sugar and stir well. Let it stand for about 5 minutes until it's foamy.
1st. Step
In another bowl, whisk together ¾ cup sugar, 2 eggs, and the egg yolk you set aside, and the whisky, until color turns pail.
Add yeast mixture into the egg mixture and whisk to combine.
2nd. Step
Now you can use electric heavy duty mixer or knead by hand as I did.😉😊
In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine flour and salt.
Add egg mixture, and beat on low speed until almost all the flour is incorporated, about 30 seconds.
Change to the dough hook. Add the 2 sticks cubed butter, and beat until flour mixture and butter are completely incorporated, and a smooth, soft dough that’s slightly sticky when squeezed is formed, about 10 minutes.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead a few turns until smooth. If kneading BY hand? Knead 10 minutes.
Step 3
Butter a large bowl and the dough ball.
Place dough in the buttered bowl.
Cover tightly with plastic wrap and a thick kitchen towel.
Set aside in a warm place to rise until doubled in bulk, about 1 1/2 hour or more.
Place the chocolate chips, and the remaining 1 cup of sugar, the cinnamon in a large bowl, and stir to combine.
Using two knives or a pastry cutter, or your hands, cut or rub against wachother your hads the remaining 1½ sticks of the cubed butter until well combined and sandy.
Set aside.
Step 4
If using pans;
Generously butter three 9-by-5-by-2¾-inch loaf pans. Line them with parchment paper.
Beat the egg white well, this is your egg for glazing the top.
Step 5
Punch back the dough, and transfer to a clean surface. Let rest 5 minutes.
Cut into 4 pieces as in the pictures shown bellow. Then cut again each section in half again.
Now you should have 8 pieces.
Cover the unused 4 pieces of dough with plastic, to prevent from drying, while working with the other 4 pieces of dough.
Placing the 4 pieces of dough together before rolling. Check the picture bellow for this steps. Then using finger tips, pinch the pieces together to stick them, then open the dough up again using finger tips.
Now use the roller to open the piece in to a 1/8 inch in thickess.
Steph 6
Drizzle plenty of olive oil and spread out with your hand evenly, all the way the the edges.
Brush the edges with the eggwash.
Step 7
Sprinkle 1/2 of the chocolate filling evenly over dough, leaving a ¼-inch border .
Do not cover the edges with chocolate where we brushed with eggwash.
Refresh egg wash if needed.
Step 8
Roll dough up tightly like a jelly roll.
Pinch ends together to seal.

🤔😁 Decision Time Now 🤔😄
You want to do it the easy way for you want to follow the harder way as I can it's all up to you. I did mine alone but if it's your 1st time you will need extra hands to help you rap the 2 roles together.😉
Simple way is to twist each roll from 5 or 6 turns. Then place them in the pan or place them on a cookie sheet.
OR?
THE HARDER WAY ...🤣
These steps will be done in the cookie sheet. Place both rolls on the sheet a little apart.
Bind the tips together as securely as possible. Very carefully score with a very sharp knife or a razor the tops of both roles.
Make sure NOT TO CUT TOO DEEP!!!
Once cut, bring one roll over the other, then bring again the bottom roll over the top roll and continue to the end.
Brush top of roll with egg wash.
If you h ave extra STREUSEL?you can alwas sprinkle little on top.
Step 10
Brush the top of loaf or liaves with egg white.
Step 11
Loosely cover each pan with plastic wrap, and let stand in a warm place 20 to 30 minutes.

Pre - Heat oven to 350F

Bake ...
rotating pan halfway through, until golden, about 45 to 55 minutes. Depending on the oven heat.
